Jerome Johnson

Jerome A. Johnson is a fourth-generation Washingtonian and lifelong resident of the District of Columbia. He has over 25 years of experience in public administration and contract management. Jerome has held executive contracting positions in four agencies within the District of Columbia government, as well as in an executive branch agency at the federal level. In these roles, he collaborated with and advised agency directors, managers, supervisors, procurement staff, elected officials, federal and state executives, international government leaders, business stakeholders, and non-governmental organizations on various issues related to public purchasing and federal policy. His guidance has included navigating statutory, regulatory, and policy authorities governing public procurement and grant-making at federal, state, and local levels. 

Jerome is a passionate and innovative thinker who enjoys working with his community to drive change and assist those in need. He is enthusiastic about exploring life’s possibilities with friends and family, whether locally or globally. In his leisure time, Jerome enjoys cooking and spending quality time with his loved ones. He believes that anything is achievable when the right people come together with the right mindset at the right time.
