In September 2025, the Blackberry Acres Ghana team — led by The Clarey Walker Foundation — traveled to the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana for a powerful engagement at an all-girls school. This initiative was part of Blackberry Acres’ broader mission to invest in communities through education, leadership, and global connection.
The visit focused on empowering the students through open dialogue, where the team shared personal stories about the often unpredictable road to success and the importance of staying focused on one’s goals despite obstacles. In addition to these motivational discussions, the team hosted a day-long empowerment session designed to encourage confidence, resilience, and leadership.
The visit concluded with the donation of backpacks filled with essential school supplies, giving each girl a head start toward a successful academic year. This gesture symbolized the team’s belief in the potential of every student to achieve greatness with the right tools and support.
Plans are already underway for a follow-up visit in 2026, with an expanded focus on leadership development, mentorship, and sustained educational support
